The Perfect Holiday
We know from experience that every person and /or families wants and desires
for a holiday can vary. Due to the many different activities offered by us
and surrounding areas, we would like to take the opportunity to help you
create the holiday that is right for you.....
Call, fax or e-mail and we'll be happy to arrange activities that you'll
be
interested in during your stay with us. From beginning riding and roping
lessons to advancing your own personal skills, we're here to see that you have
fun. Bring your own horse and equipment and use our facilities or come and
let us take care of that for you. If tourists attractions, sight-seeing or
shopping are your preference - we can arrange that also.
Cabins
Log cabins are set on the banks of Todd Creek where fishing is at it’s best. The cabins are self-catering and have all the amenities. Everything from stove, fridge, microwave, water coolers, pots & pans, dishes, TV, VCR and all have a shower, toilet and sink. The Sundowner is completed with a claw foot bath tub.

Extras
If there are more than 4 guests in any one
cabin - there is a charge of $15.00/person or $25.00/couple.
Bedding Charge of $10.00/bed - one time charge or you can choose to bring your
own bedding.
Cabin Discounts
- 10% off – 2 weeks (14 consecutive days)
- 25% off – 1 month (30/31 consecutive days)
- 40% off – 2 months or more (60 + days)
- When discounts apply – 50% deposit of full price is required.
Riding & Packages
Riding – Hourly rate - $25.00/hour/horse (Advance booking recommended)
These packages will vary according to capabilities and is left up to our
discretion here at Sierra West. This can be discussed during our
pre-booking calls. Sierra West reserves to cancel any ranch activity that is deemed
unsafe due to poor weather conditions. It is highly recommended that guests
bring and wear their own riding helmets.
High Country Day Ride
$140.00/person (Min 2)
Come ride the High Country with us and enjoy the smell
of wild flowers and unending scenery.
We will guide you on a wonderful 5 hour horseback ride which will
include a tasty lunch at our half way destination point.
Rocky Mountain Getaway
5 days/4 nights - $1095.00/person or 7days/6nights - $1620.00/person

Spend an adventuresome few days taking in the ranching activities of 2
spectacular ranches - Sierra West Cabins & Ranch Vacations & Brown Creek Ranch.
Start out by learning horsemanship, how to ride, rope, handle cattle and then
take a trail ride or perhaps even a cattle drive into the back country where the
scenery never end!
Enjoy ranch cooked meals and relax in your own private log cabin.
This package may also include sight seeing to major tourist destinations in the
area.

We invite you to a “Ladies Only”
weekend – where the fun never ends!
Our Friday night starts out with a wine & cheese party and instructional
line dancing by a pro. Saturday is a day for pampering yourself -
massage, facial, reflexology – FEEL YOUR BODY MELT! For an added feature
we will also be including a horseback ride on the scenic ranchland –
home of Sierra West Cabins & Ranch Vacations. Sunday, gives everyone a
time to be in touch with energy medicine that addresses the whole
body/mind complex. To top this weekend off we have attained a culinary
chef from Calgary to be on site for the cuisine.

Sierra West Frontier Cattle Drive – July 12 & 13, 2008
“The Best Little Cattle Drive in the West”

We hope that you will “saddle up” and ride with the Sierra West gang on our 2008
Cattle Drive! This year our trip will take you through some of the most scenic
mountain countryside nestled close to the base of the majestic Livingstone
Mountain Range in Southwestern Alberta.
Step back in to the pages of time and experience a taste of the “Old West” as we
ride the open ranges, drive cattle, indulge in down home country cooking and
tell yarns & sing songs around the campfire. You will marvel at the
breath-taking scenery, serenity of nature and the comradeship of fellow
horsemen.

Transportation from the Calgary International Airport - $300.00 round trip (up to 2 people) and $50.00/person thereafter to a maximum of 4 guests in the same trip.

Cancellation

If notice of cancellation is received 31+ days prior to your scheduled arrival - your deposit less a $100.00 Administration Fee will be refunded.
